This section of the EgyGene GelAnalyzer4 software: Image Analysis part includes the necessary commands to splitting a detected lane to be two lanes.

This command splits the pre-defined lane on the gel image to two lanes. Press the button "Splitting Lanes" then go to the position to divide and press the left-mouse-button.
